Not only was the food we tried fantastic, the guide, Kath, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the city. We learnt so much about the history and culture of Auckland, and were able to sample local oysters, local cheese, top tier nibbles from renowned restaurants, stunning local chocolates and a platter of stunning desserts, all which reflected the diversity of the city. Kath was also great at giving recommendations for other places to eat and explore. This is a great introduction to Auckland and should be on every visitor’s itinerary.

Our guide is clearly into this and very knowledgeable about the city. She gave us a lot of good information and also has good recommendations for where to go depending on what you are looking for. My only negative was I sometimes had trouble hearing Elle at the opposite side of the table, so I suggest she try to sit in the middle of table in the future.   Worth the price.

Loved going to 3 long time local companies for a super variety of local products. Loved the drive around town and the excellent kiwi Asian lunch at the end!  Definitely recommend!
