  Do a Big Foody tour as soon as you arrive in Auckland! Not only was the food we tried fantastic, the guide, Kath, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the city. We learnt so much about the history and culture of Auckland, and were able to sample local oysters, local cheese, top tier nibbles from renowned restaurants, stunning local chocolates and a platter of stunning desserts, all which reflected the diversity of the city. Kath was also great at giving recommendations for other places to eat and explore. This is a great introduction to Auckland and should be on every visitor’s itinerary.

  Great food tour with great food. We did this tour on our first day in Auckland and it was a great introduction to the city. Our guide is clearly into this and very knowledgeable about the city. She gave us a lot of good information and also has good recommendations for where to go depending on what you are looking for. We went to the cool speakeasy while we waited for our dinner reservation based on her recommendation and it was great.

  Best food tour I have ever done!  It was delicious and by far the classiest food tour I have experienced globally.   My only negative was I sometimes had trouble hearing Elle at the opposite side of the table, so I suggest she try to sit in the middle of table in the future.   Worth the price.

  Amazing food tour, the best one I have been in all my travels. The tour guide Kath was specially knowledgeable and provided fun historical details along the way. Even though the day was rainy, the group and places were so fun to go around the city walking and tasting amazing food. Definitely going on the books when I return to Auckland!   Amazing food! We enjoyed an incredible variety of white wine, food, and sweets.. As wonderful as the food was, Elle was even better. She told us so many interesting things about Auckland.   We loved the Big Fiody Toyr!  Kath was amazingly knowledgeable about the NZ food scene. Loved going to 3 long time local companies for a super variety of local products. Loved the drive around town and the excellent kiwi Asian lunch at the end!  Definitely recommend!
